Tartufi Prete was born from the mutual love that binds two brothers to each other and to their parents, the love that binds human beings to nature, the love that leads to all the other feelings that characterize the world: passion, ambition, care, constant dedication.

In 2008 a new member arrived in the Prete family, Gilda, a little bundle of fur with very sweet eyes who at just one year old had found a truffle of about 480 grams.
Gilda was the starting point of the discovery of love and passion for truffles and starting from Gilda, truffle hunting became their father's greatest passion and creating truffle recipes their mother's passion
La Cerca was created to give value to truffles, which for the company are not just a precious condiment but above all, a synonym for the expression of Territory, Tradition and Emotion.

La Cerca, located in the Marche region, is a love story about an ancient tradition, handed down from father to son. It tells the story of a special couple: the dog and his owner, bound by a great complicity, searching together for that hidden fruit that is worth the efforts and sacrifices. Respect for the environment is also very important to them - They are working to recover and safeguard as many suitable lands as possible by transforming them into controlled natural truffle grounds, or, where possible, by transforming abandoned agricultural land into cultivated truffle grounds.
