About Us
Bonalumi Fam - Wine & Food are distributors of gourmet food and wine.
We are based in the south of Sweden, Ödåkra, just outside Helsingborg. Owned and run by Thomas Bonalumi, who has strong ties to Italian traditions, the company reflects his personal connection to Italy and his family's history. Thomas gained his love for Italian food culture through his father Sergio, who has his roots in Italy. Sergio left his homeland in 1951 to build a new life in Sweden, after the end of the Second World War. He moved to Sweden and settled 1600km from his original home, where he met and married Doris, an incredibly charismatic woman who became the mother of their four children.

Thomas, the eldest child, spent his first 14 summers in Italy, where he experienced Italian traditions and food culture. He gained an insight into the Italian way of life and the family gained a deeper appreciation for Italian culture, which has shaped Thomas and his approach to food and wine. The ability to feel and understand "La Dolce Vita Italiana" - the sweet Italian way of life - has been a strong driving force in Bonalumi Fam - Wine & Food's philosophy, where the focus is on offering high quality products that convey the authentic Italian taste.

Meet Thomas
As a gourmet lover, Thomas started bringing Italian products such as salami, parmesan cheese and different types of pasta that had not yet reached the Swedish market, back to Sweden. These experiences sparked his interest in starting his own business importing high-quality food and wine to Sweden.
This led to the creation of the Bonalumi Fam Company, where he focused on exclusive, high-quality premium products.
In 2023, Bonalumi Fam Wine & Food Company was officially founded, and in 2024, the new distribution center was opened in Helsingborg, in southern Sweden.
